AIR AMBULANCES
,
HOW DO I REQUEST A QUOTE?
We have an operational team available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Send your quote request to info@mdfly.com.ar and within 10 minutes our team will send you the requested estimate.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR THE AIRCRAFT TO DEPART ONCE I CONFIRM THE QUOTE?
Weather permitting, within 2 hours of quote confirmation our crew will be ready to take off at the airport.
DOES IT INCLUDE GROUND AMBULANCE?
All our transfers include ground ambulance service in Buenos Aires, using MD FLY's own fleet. The same physicians who attend the patient on the aircraft accompany them all the way to the destination hospital.
WHO ACCOMPANIES THE PATIENT ON THE PLANE?
All air transfers include on board a specialist aeromedical physician and a nurse. If the case requires it, a respiratory therapist may also join.
HOW IS A MEDICAL FLIGHT COORDINATED?
Once the quote is confirmed, our Medical Director contacts the treating physician at origin and takes all necessary steps for the execution of the transfer.
DO YOU ONLY OPERATE PRIVATE AIR AMBULANCES?
No. In some cases, patients are well enough to travel on commercial airlines, but airlines will not allow them to board for legal reasons. In these cases, they require a physician on board responsible for the patient during the flight. At MD FLY we have our own travel agency that handles acceptance coordination with the airline, ground transfers, accommodation, and other important details so the patient can get home.
ARE THE AIRCRAFT OWNED OR CHARTERED?
We hold an air operator certificate and operate our own fleet.
WHAT OTHER SERVICES DO YOU OFFER?
The years we have spent doing what we love have given us extensive experience to advise our clients on the best alternative for a repatriation based on the patient's condition.
We also offer medical assistance services in Buenos Aires and throughout Argentina.
